[SAND GEORGE]: (1804-1876) French Novelist. A vintage 7.5 x 9 woodburytype photograph, the image depicting Sand seated in a three quarter length pose. The photographic print by Goupil, from an earlier negative by Nadar, is neatly mounted to a folio page from the publication Galerie Contemporaine (1876-84). Some light age wear to the mount and very slight, minor wrinkling to the edges of the photograph, about VG
