We have added part of the envelope bearing the postmark of the previous day and the address of the addressee. Another handwriting in blue ink. Friendly and caring letter revealing a George Sand who is nice and encouraging to her friend and companion, the writer Prosper Vialon, to whom she wishes courage and pleasure in his publishing plans, which appear to be tedious, by writing about how good and pleasing it is to create. Seconde écriture à l'encre bleue. Lettre amicale et bienveillante montrant une George Sand sympathique et encourageante vis-à-vis de son ami et compère, l'écrivain Prosper Vialon, à qui elle souhaite du courage et du plaisir dans son entreprise de publication qui semble laborieuse en écrivant combien il est bon et doux de créer.
