Belonging to the artist movement 'Junge Wilde', she is known for her colourful and expressive depictions of women. Bach studied at the Staatliche Glasfachschule Hadamar and the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. In 1982 she participated at the Documenta VII. She works and lives in Berlin.
