In a provocative pose she repels a snake with both arms. This is considered an early work from the 1980s by Bach, that was printed in an edition of 60 copies. The work is signed lower right with pencil in the toecap 'Elvira Bach' and ibidem numbered with pencil '41/60'. The print is in very good condition and has a total dimension of 100 x 100 cm in the frame. Elvira Bach (born 1951) Elvira Bach was born 1951 in Neuenhain, Germany. Belonging to the artist movement 'Junge Wilde', she is known for her colourful and expressive depictions of women. Bach studied at the Staatliche Glasfachschule Hadamar and the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. In 1982 she participated at the Documenta VII. She works and lives in Berlin.
