Winslow Homer THE LIFE LINE (GOODRICH 92) Etching, 1884, on J. Whatman, from the Charles White edition printed in 1941, with the anchor and dials remarques, pale lightstain, matstain, old paper tape at top sheet edge at and near corners verso, some soiling, printer's ink and minor foxing in the margins and verso, unobtrusive handling creases, some creasing at top right sheet corner, a 3/8 inch tear at right sheet edge with some associated discoloration and a 1/8 x 1/8 inch loss, two printer's creases at bottom plate corners extending into the margin to at or near bottom sheet edge, otherwise in good condition, with good margins, framed. 12 7/8 x 17 7/8 inches; 327 x 454 mm. Sheet 17 3/8 x 22 1/4 inches; 441 x 565 mm.
