HOMER WINSLOW: (1836-1910) American Painter. A.L.S., W C Homer, one page, 8vo, New York, 2nd December 1904, to Fred M. Newcomb, on the illustrated printed stationery of the Hotel Westminster. Homer informs his correspondent that he leaves that afternoon for Florida and wishes him good luck, concluding by quoting 'Ye gentlemen of England, That live at home at ease, Ah! Little do you think, Upon the dangers of the seas'. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Homer. Two very small, minor tears to the edges, not affecting the text or signature, otherwise VG
