This Lot contains 6 color serigraphs and one color lithograph that are all titled as 'Intersuperficie', a series of original works Scheggi created by cutting geometrical circular holes into the canvas and afterwards mounting them in succession. The six serigraphs, printed on card, are all titled 'Intersuperficie' and numbered 1, 3 (2x), 4, 5, 7, whereas two of the sheets numbered 3 are identical. They presumably came from various original portfolios containing 6 different serigraphs that were published in an edition of 100 copies. Enclosed to this Lot is a color lithograph from the same series 'Intersuperficie', marked as copy '22/100'. This overall 7 prints are each signed 'Scheggi' respectively 'Paolo Scheggi' and variously numbered. They are verso labeled with information concerning the artist, series, number, edition, and date. This label is also signed by the artist. All sheets are in very good condition, showing only slight sings of age and wear such as minimal marginal blemishes and studio traces. The sheet size is 30 x 30 cm and one sheet is 40 x 40 cm. Paolo Scheggi (1940-1971) Italian artist Paolo Scheggi was born 1940 in Florence where he also studied at the Academy of Art. In 1960 Scheggi established his own magazine for art and literature called 'Il malinteso'. Artistically his work is based on the constructivism movement. He created a series of works called 'Intersuperficie' which he presented at the Biennale di Venezia in 1966. Furthermore Sheggis art pieces are presented in the constructivism department on the 21st Salon de Réalités Nouvelles in the Paris Musée d'art moderne. Der italienische Künstler Paolo Scheggi schuf diese sieben Grafiken, welche in einer Auflage von 100 Exemplaren erschienen sind, in den Jahren 1965 bis 1967. Es handelt sich hier um sechs Farbserigrafien und eine Farblithografie zu den Arbeiten, die als „Intersuperficie" bezeichnet werden. Der Künstler schnitt hier in geometrischer Anordnung kreisrunde Löcher in Leinwände, die er schließlich sukzessive hintereinander montierte. Die sechs Serigrafien, gedruckt auf Karton, tragen alle den Titel „Intersuperficie" und sind nummeriert 1, 3 (2x), 4, 5, 7, wobei die zwei Blätter mit der Nummer 3 identisch sind. Sie entstammen wohl ursprünglich aus verschiedenen Portfolios mit je 6 unterschiedlichen Serigrafien, die in einer Auflage von 100 Exemplaren erschienen sind. Beiliegend zu diesem Lot befindet sich eine Farblithografie aus derselben Serie „Intersuperficie", die als Exemplar „22/100" gekennzeichnet ist. Die insgesamt 7 Grafiken sind jeweils signiert „Scheggi" bzw. „Paolo Scheggi" sowie verschieden nummeriert. Des Weiteren findet sich verso ein Etikett mit Angaben zum Künstler, Nummerierung, Datierung und Signatur des Künstlers. Die Blätter befinden sich allesamt in einem sehr guten Zustand mit nur leichten Gebrauchspuren wie minimalen Randläsuren und Atelierspuren. Die Blattmaße betragen sechsmal 30 x 30 cm und einmal 40 x 40 cm. Paolo Scheggi (1940-1971) Der italienische Künstler Paolo Scheggi wurde 1940 in Florenz geboren, wo er später an der Akademie der Künste studierte. 1960 gründete er die Kunst- und Literaturzeitschrift ‚Il malinteso'. Künstlerisch etablierte er sich auf dem Gebiet des Konstruktivismus. Seine Serie von Arbeiten bezeichnet als „Intersuperficie" brachten Ihn 1966 auf die Biennale nach Venedig. Darüber hinaus sind seine Werke in der Abteilung der Konstruktivisten auf dem 21. Salon de Réalités Nouvelles im Pariser Musée d'art moderne vertreten. 2013 wurde in Mailand die Associazione Paolo Scheggi gegründet.
