Several, differently cut cardboards are laid into square cardboard covers, which can be turned on the side. The cardboard casings have got each a hole on the front as well as on the backside, so the revolving movements of the inside cardboard forms can be watched. In the colors orange, black and white, the cardboards build a high-contrast impression of these geometrically arranged 'Compositions'. The four multiples are each signed lower left in pencil 'P. Scheggi', and numbered 26/50, 20/50, 22/50 and 12/50. All four multiples are in good condition with minor blemishes to the margins and in spots tiny stains. The total dimensions are each 29.9 x 29.9 cm. Paolo Scheggi (1940-1971) Italian artist Paolo Scheggi was born 1940 in Florence where he also studied at the Academy of Art. In 1960 Scheggi established his own magazine for art and literature called 'Il malinteso'. Artistically his work is based on the constructivism movement. He created a series of works called 'Intersuperficie' which he presented at the Biennale di Venezia in 1966. Furthermore Sheggis art pieces are presented in the constructivism department on the 21st Salon de Réalités Nouvelles in the Paris Musée d'art moderne. In 2013, the Associazione Paolo Scheggi was founded in Milano. In quadratischen Kartonhüllen sind mehrere, verschieden zugeschnittene Kartone eingelegt, die an der Seite gedreht werden können. Die Kartonhüllen sind jeweils auf der Vorder- und der Rückseite mit einer Aussparung versehen, in dem die Drehbewegungen der inneren Kartonformen beobachten werden können. In den Farben Orange, Schwarz und Weiß heben sich die einzelnen Kartone voneinander ab und bilden unterschiedliche kontrastreiche Kompositionen. Die vier Multiples sind jeweils unten links in Bleistift signiert „P. Scheggi" und nummeriert 26/50, 20/50, 22/50 und 12/50. Alle vier Multiples sind in gutem Zustand mit leichten Randläsuren und stellenweisen winzigen Flecken. Die Gesamtmaße betragen jeweils 29,9 x 29,9 cm. Künstlerisch etablierte er sich auf dem Gebiet des Konstruktivismus. Seine Serie von Arbeiten bezeichnet als „Intersuperficie" brachten Ihn 1966 auf die Biennale nach Venedig. Darüber hinaus sind seine Werke in der Abteilung der Konstruktivisten auf dem 21. Salon de Réalités Nouvelles im Pariser Musée d'art moderne vertreten. 2013 wurde in Mailand die Associazione Paolo Scheggi gegründet.
