MAXFIELD PARRISH (1870-1966) THE CENTURY FOR MAY. 1902. 20 1/2x14 inches, 52x35 1/2 cm. Condition A-: minor creases and tears in margins. Paper. Parrish provided two color illustrations and four images in black and white for the article on "The Great Southwest." The reportage continued through the following three issues, concluding in August with Parrish continuing to provide illustrations. For the first in the series, the magazine used one of his illustrations for the poster.
