Hauptmann, Karl 1880 Freiburg i.Br. - 1947 Todtnau. «Hof mit Baum (farm with tree)». Black Forest farm near St. Märgen. Probably 1920s. Pencil and coloured pencil on greyish wove paper. Unsigned. Verso estate stamp of the artist as well as inscribed by Karin Hauptmann, granddaughter of the artist. Verso on the backboard estate stamp of the artist. H 20, W 30 cm (sheet). Framed. Several oil stains (approx. 5 mm to 1,5 cm), isolated small paint stains (approx. 2 to 8 mm), torn-off edge at the left margin. The work has currently not been unframed.
