SISLEY ALFRED: (1839-1899) French-born British Impressionist Painter. A brief A.L.S., A Sisley, one page, small 8vo, Moret, 1stFebruary 1891, to an unidentified correspondent, in French. Sisley states that he received the 100 Francs, sends his thanks and remarks ‘You are very kind’. The text is a little faded in places, although legible. Some heavy age toning to the borders, evidently caused by previous framing, not affecting the text or signature, G
