Sha Fu (Chinese, 1831-1906) watercolor painting on paper. Titled Figure. depicting a robed scholar and attendant walking a mountain path under a gnarled tree. The literati-style composition includes expressive calligraphy and artist’s seal at upper left. Mounted in a gilt frame with double matting and gallery labels on verso from Langley’s Framing Corner, Kansas City. Sight size approximately 10 3/4" x 12". Dimensions: 18 X 19.5 X .50 in. Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Storage wear to the edges and the corners.
