Signed and dated in the plate on the lower margin: Rembrandt f. 1646. 8.2 x 6.5 cm (sheet size: 10 x 8.2 cm). Framed. Bartsch 170; Hinterding/Rutgers (New Hollstein) 229 IV (of V). - Silvery, even and clear impression with plate tone and margins around the plate edge. In the upper half of the image with a faint diagonal crease. The lower left corner with ink stains. A few signs of age and handling. Verso secured along the upper edge with mounting tape. Bartsch 170; Hinterding/Rutgers (New Hollstein) 229 IV (von V). - Silbriger, gleichmässiger und klarer Druck mit Plattenton und umlaufend mit Rand um die Plattenkante. In der oberen Bildhälfte mit schwach sichtbarer diagonal verlaufender Knickfalte. In der untere linken Ecke mit Tintenflecken. Wenige Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Rückseitig am oberen Rand mit Montierungsband fixiert. Verso leicht gebräunt. Insgesamt in schöner Erhaltung.
