It is a color aquatint; the sheet also shows embossing and in the upper part a yellow piece of mounted paper. The work is a typical example of the Pranchensky's artistic output. Prachensky is regarded as one of the most important Austrian avant-garde artists and was a co-founder of the Informalism in Austria. The work is in good condition. The upper corners are mounted with adhesive strips against the backside of the passe-partout. There is a small water stain at the lower right corner. Some scattered stains are visible at the margins, but they are covered by the passe-partout. There are traces of a former mounting on the reverse. The work is signed and dated with pencil lower right 'Prachensky 73' and numbered with pencil lower left '87/100'. It is titled with pencil on the verso 'Die rot rote Reise'. The wooden frame shows small traces of wear and measures 44.7 x 38.5 cm. The sheet size is 30 x 19 cm and the image measures 16 x 12 cm.
