A good signed 8 x 10 photograph of Mandela in an unusual head and shoulders pose wearing a pair of boxing gloves on his raised hands, as he smiles and playfully adopts a boxing stance before the camera. Signed by Mandela in bold blue ink to a clear area of the image and dated 9th October 2000 in his hand. EX Mandela held a lifelong interest in boxing and during the 1930s had trained in the sport at the Donaldson Orlando Community Centre (Soweto YMCA).
