Thus an atmospherically and authentic portrait is being created, which gives the banality of the market scene an enormous charisma. Condition: The condition of the photography is very good with minimal damages. The image dimensions measure 73.3 x 91 cm, while the sheet dimensions are 74.9 x 91.9 cm. The passe-partout measures 84 x 110 cm. Rosemarie Pierer (1918-2012) The German Photographer Rosemarie Pierer was born in Bernburg, but moved to Hamburg in 1949, where she founded her own studio. The famous photograph and model Inge Schönthal, later Feltrinelli, was trained by the Grande Dame of German photography in the 1950s. Pierer worked for the ‘Thalia-Theater’ and for many different companies, such as Beiersdorf, Deutsche Airbus, Philips, Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg, Maico. In her last years she concentrated again on portrait-photographs, among others Architect Hadi Teherani and former chancellor Helmut Schmidt.
