EISENSTAEDT, ALFRED [Nuns and Chinese child]. Gelatin silver print, original negative date unknown, signed by Eisenstaedt on image in ink. On the reverse is the Pix stamp, Eisenstaedt's photographic notes on camera and exposure etc., and a stamp indicating that the image was used by "Pageant" magazine on page 28 in the December-January issue. The year is not stated. 12 x 9 1/8 inches (30 x 23 cm). Reverse of image somewhat finger soiled, slight creasing to one corner.
