EISENSTAEDT, ALFRED (1898-1995) Group of eight images, including three portraits of Clare Boothe Luce at her home in Fairfield, Conn., students at Smith College, and a Lejendre plantation scene, silver gelatin prints, largest 10 3/4 x 14 inches (275 x 355 mm), variously dated 1936-1946, one signed recto, all others signed and stamped/annotated verso. One of the photographs of Clare Boothe Luce and Henry Luce is reproduced in Eisenstaedt's Album.
