Graves, John (American/Pittsburgh, 1919-2004), Early Sunday Morning at Atwood and Forbes, 1993, oil on artist's board, signed lower right, and also signed, titled and dated on the verso, 20 x 28 inches, in a wood frame 21 x 29 inches. An excellent example of 20th century Western Pennsylvania folk art by this self taught artist, showing the quiet shops and Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh's Oakland neighborhood.
