Bohdan Kopecký dedicated himself to the realistic depiction of darkened industrial landscapes, and only later did his subjects begin to be refined. Flowering plants and grasses and outcrops of the Bohemian Central Mountains came to the fore. The sky on the horizon is dominated by the last rays of sunlight, the dark blue night sky begins. The industrial character is emphasized by the river with its glowing ultramarine line, and the landscape is framed by trees in the foreground, which resonate throughout Bohdan Kopecky's subsequent work.
