- MESDAG-VAN HOUTEN, Sientje (Dutch 1834 - 1909). Landscape with farms and a couple in the distance. Oil on canvas, signed with initials 'SMvH' (lower left); framed in contemp. gilded frame (chipped) with a label of D. Sala en Zonen, Leiden on the reverse. Professionally relined and restored, varnish slightly yellowed, several tiny superficial losses lower centre, else in good condition.
