Willem de Kooning unframed acrylic on canvas (on stretcher) signed verso and measuring 24" in height with width of 30" and depth of 1/2". Complete with letter of provenance from a previous owner, please see photographs. No certificate of authenticity accompanies this piece, but style and signature are consistent with those of other known works by the artist. Current provenance: from the estate of a New Jersey collector and art dealer. It is our recommendation that all pieces be examined in person by prospective bidders or by a trusted expert they have asked to advise on the purchase.
