oil on canvas, signed at lower left, presented in a contemporary frame. DOA 53 x 53 in. Born in Buffalo, NY, James Kerr began his art studies at a young age. Two of his greatest mentors were Lazlo Szabo, a renowned portrait painter and Carl Illig, a prominent landscape painter. He describes his work as all about "capturing a moment in time."
