He displays his interest in the human form through figurative works, portraits and studies of human day-to-day activities. A very versatile artist, Kerr is adept at painting tropical landscapes, seascapes, outdoor markets, boxing matches, fishermen, jazz musicians and more, all with his signature fluid and vibrant brushwork. Exhibiting for over 25 years, Mr. Kerr has had more than 20 one-man shows. His paintings are represented in hundreds of private and corporate collections, including: Wachovia Bank and Trust, RJR Nabisco, the Glaxo Corporation and Bank of America.
