oil on canvas, signed at lower right, signed and titled on the verso, framed. DOA 49.5 x 37.75 in. Born in Buffalo, NY, James Kerr began his art studies at a young age. Two of his greatest mentors were Lazlo Szabo, a renowned portrait painter and Carl Illig, a prominent landscape painter. He describes his work as all about "capturing a moment in time."
