This art piece as told by the owner of his great grandson:my great grandfather when he use to live in Hampton New York he would buy art for his down time from doing business over the world and traveling and when he would travel from state to state he would purchase art for his own hobby and for my great grand mother and he would collect so much and he would have advisors to tell him what to buy and what artist that would soon they beleive to become well known .So he would buy and just keep and hold on to them my grandfather lived in Hampton New YORK from the late 60's all the way until the late 90's and I was told he bought the Jean Michel Basquiat it in 1981 at a art Exhibition show
