DESCRIPTION: Igor Galanin (Russian, 1937- ). Oil on canvas. Nude on a bench in an architectural landscape, positioned in front of a mirror with a glass of champagne in hand, and the Yale Literary Magazine to her right. Signed at the lower right "Igor Galanin 1982". In black and gold leaf and scroll motif painted wooden frame. Born in 1937, in Moscow, Russia, Galanin lived in Russia and Italy. He emigrated to the United States in 1972 and became a citizen in 1983. MEASUREMENTS: 29-3/4" x 23-3/4". Overall with frame 37-3/4" x 31-3/4". CONDITION: Chipping and losses to paint on frame.
