This exhibition then travelled to Tokyo, The Bunkamura Museum of Art, 7 February- 9 May 2004 Bibliography : Isabelle Compin, Henri-Edmond Cross, Paris, 1964, p.161 This work is a study for the finished painting Mère jouant avec son enfant, painted in 1897-98, which represented the artist's sister-in-law and his nephew (see Isabelle Compin) Our work will be included in the Catalogue Raisonné of paintings and watercolors by Henri Edmond Cross in preparation by Mr Patrick Offenstadt. An authenticity certificate by Mr Patrick Offenstadt will be provided to the purchaser.
