Additional Information: This double sided drawing is signed with the artist's monogram 'M' at the lower right corner of the paper. The charcoal drawing has a partial study in sanguine pastel at right, verso. Provenance: Curt Valentin Gallery, New York Marlborough Fine Art, Ltd., London Exhibited: "Die Französische Bezeichnung des 20. Jahrhunderts" at Hamburger Kunsthalle. 1st October to 15th November 1959. Catalogue number 154. Condition: Good condition. The left sheet edge unevenly cut and bearing a pencil inscription. The upper left corner with a minor tear. Remnants of adhesive tape along all sheet edges, verso.
