This lot is for a signed portfolio of 12 lithographs by French artist Aristide Maillol (1861-1944). The title "Ovide L'Art D'Aimer". It was published in 1935 by Les Frees Gonin. It is number XXVII. There are 6 lithos in black and 6 in sanguine. Each litho. has printed monogram signature and back page Aristide Maillol signed in pencil (see photo). The cat. rais. is Guerin 307-315. The lithos are 15" x 11" and with the box 16 1/2" x 11 1/2" with tears to portfolio box only.
