Johann Nepomuk Franz Xaver Strixner (1782 Altötting - 1855 Munich) after Raffael: Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (1483 Urbino - 1520 Rom): Group from a Deposition from the Cross, Incunabulum of Lithography, 1811-1816, c. 1811, Lithography Technique: Lithography on Paper Inscription: Above numerous heads, below left kneeling monk grasping the Lord's leg. Dussler, (Munich II), p.138, No. VIII, I.). Strixner learned engraving with Dorner 1799. Employed as draughtsman 1803 at the electoral gallery in Munich.
