Ink on paper 12 x 9 inches These drawings directly descended from the artist, Jessie Willcox Smith (and the "Red Rose Girls"), to the owner's great grandmother, Anna Blanchard Blakiston, and great grandfather, Frank Miles Day, a prominent Philadelphia architect and founding trustee of the American Academy in Rome in 1894. Provenance: Given directly by the artist to Frank Miles Day and Anna Blanchard Blakiston; Thence by descent to the present owner. $1,500-3,500
