JULES PASCIN 1885-1930 Vidin, Bulgaria 1885-1930 Paris (Bulgarian/French/American) Title: Nénette and Chiffe, 1930 Technique: Original Hand Signed Pencil Drawing on MBM France Arches Paper Paper size: 63 x 48 cm / 24.8 x 18.9 in Additional Information: This original pencil drawing is hand signed by the artist 'Pascin' twice at the lower right corner. It is also stamped with the artist studio stamp "Atelier Pascin" (Lugt 2014) in the lower right hand corner. Provenance: The Estate of the Artist Lucy Krohg (Pascin's mistress) Tore A. Holms Collection, Norway Tore A. Holms collected art all his adult life. His sure instinct for artistic merit has led him to appreciate works outside the borders of conventional taste, and to see the potential in young as well as more established artists. The collection consists of both national and international works, with a particular emphasis on French and Spanish art. Parts of his collection were exhibited in 1999-2000 and again in 2012 in the Lillehammer Art Museum in Norway. Condition: Overall very good condition. There is a small crease in the lower right hand of the paper and there is very light foxing around the edge of the image. There is some tape along the top margin.
