Boy with bird carved marble sculpture, after the original by Charles-Antoine Bridan (French 1730-1805), late 19th or early 20th century, depicting a boy wearing a headband playing with a bird, standing next to a tree stump covered by drapery, the whole resting on a circular base, having no apparent mark. Approx. h. 29", dia. 10".
