The gallery was located on Potsdamer Straße 134 a. and exhibited among others works of the Blaue Reiter. The gallery was, like the magazine ‘Der Sturm’, to which also contributed Oskar Kokoschka, an important mouthpiece of the Expressionism. The monumental work is characterized by simplicity and asymmetry as well as by a dramatic exaggeration of the form. Condition: The bronze is in very good condition, showing only the lightest abrasion of the paint and superficial signs of use. The height is circa 55 cm.
