For more than forty years, Dale Ford has specialized in crafting beautiful and historically accurate scale models of horse-drawn stagecoaches and wagons. The C.M. Russell Museum has a comprehensive collection of his work on permanent display. Each wagon in this collection of five is made of hand-rubbed hardwood, steel, and leather. Uniquely detailed and painted, the resulting works capture a wonderful sense of the horse-drawn era of the American West. These pieces have never been on public display as they are from the Ford family personal collection.
