작품 상세
Comstock Fuel Wagon, by Dale Ford. Green with bright yellow carriage. Detailed with padded seat, pin-striping and load of wood in the box with a double blade axe. 19" long x 12" wide x 16" tall. Dale Ford (b. 1934) Dale Ford, of Redding, California, began crafting precise scale models of horse drawn vehicles in 1965. His models are not only detailed, but historically correct. Ford has re-created 80 different miniature horse-drawn vehicles of the 1800s, each made by hand of hardwood, steel and leather, in painstaking detail. Each has a very fine hand-rubbed finish that is striped and lettered by hand. The C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana has a 69-piece collection of Dale Ford's miniature horse drawn vehicles on permanent exhibit.
