The vase of cylindrical corpus stands on a protruding base. The wall is designed in a stylized leaf motif in deepened contours in a matt and shiny glaze of darker violet-green shades. Condition: The ceramic vase is in very good condition with minimal traces of use, like tiny glaze chipping at the base ring. The vase is 20.4 cm in height. Montières Ceramics Manufactory (est. 1917) Jean Barol, formerly a glaze artist in Clement Massier's Golf Juan workshop, founded the company B.A.C.S. in Vallauris in 1912. In 1917, he left B.A.C.S. and founded together with Francois Sicard Montières in the city of Montières-les-Amiens in the North of France. Montières produced iridescent and enameled ceramic, similar to that of Massier and B.A.C.S. Barol was the artistic director of Montières until 1920.
