In 1911, he was involved in the establishment of BACS in Cannes along with three other artists from the Massier Manufactory - Marius Alexandre, Jean Carle and François Sicard. Together they invented new techniques for the application of high-fired enamel cloisonné on vessels with metallic luster glaze. In addition, they created ceramics with enamel glazed landscapes in an Impressionist style. Condition: The vase is in very good condition, showing slight signs of use to the underside.
