Whatman artist's paper is signed lower right front and titled back side of the sheet in the artist's hand. Additional inscriptions back side of the original backing board identify the title as Groping Out and list this as number 76 in the artist's catalog. This work is said to have been exhibited in Pairs in 1921. Sheet measures 22.25 x 29.25 with a framed size of 32.5 x 39.5 inches.
