American cartoonist Charles Schulz (1922-2000) is best known for his comic strip Peanuts which featured the now iconic characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Peanuts was published in over 2,600 newspapers, in 75 countries and 21 languages and reprints of the strip regularly appear in newspapers today. This film still is from Snoopy, Come Home, a 1972 animated musical film. Although initially a box office flop, the film has since become a huge success due to multiples television airings and its release on DVD. The still features the autograph of Charles Schulz in bold black ink above a drawing of Snoopy packing a suitcase.
