John Lennon (1940-1980) A blue, green, brown, black and white striped terrycloth bathrobe with two front pockets and a tie-belt. The robe was owned and worn by John Lennon circa 1964-1966 at his home in Keybridge. The bathrobe is accompanied by a signed affidavit from Dorothy Jarlett. As housekeeper to John and Cynthia Lennon at Kenwood, the couple's home in Weybridge, Surrey, Dorothy Jarlett was often the recipient of clothing and other items courtesy of the Lennons. Provenance: Sotheby's 1984 and Christie's November 29, 1995. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Marquee Capital Limited.
