John Lennon (1940-1980) A pair of blue jeans owned and worn by John Lennon circa 1978/79. The jeans were rescued from Lennon's Long Island vacation home, and were given to Lennon's assistant Fred Seamon, after a flea infestation at the residence. The incident and the jeans being given to Fred is recounted in the book, "The Last days of John Lennon". The French-made jeans bear a leather label on the reverse pocket with the wording "Campagne Francaiue Du Jean". Provenance: Christie's, South Kensington, London, September 26, 2000.
