Kollwitz discusses her artistic contribution to a book that is due to be published, in part, 'I have been thinking about the small book that you and Frau Diel are planning, and I feel I can agree to it if, as you emphasise again, I can be fully involved in the creation of this little book. One question I do have is how you plan to gather 30 - 36 illustrations. I do not think that you will get more than 20. But time will tell. I hereby give my consent.' About EX
