Souza progressively treated his drawings and chemical alterations where acrylic was also frequently used to reveal the darkest and bleakest side of humanity. The medium of acrylic allowed a level spontaneity not available in oil. The fast drying nature of the acrylic allows a certain playfulness. This work exhibits the inner chaos embodied in the rapidly drawn lines against a dark background.
