German ca 1900 Black Forrest Wood Carved adjustable Book Rack, the ends carved as Apples on stems with leaves (a famous product of Baden Wurttembergh) over grasses and the base sliding at both hinged ends carved as rusticated planks. Length closed 14 3/8 inches X width 5 7/8 inches. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of a New York Connoisseur of Asian Art.
