Private collection of a North West England collector. Property of a collector known by the artist. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity as authenticated and signed by the artist in 2005. This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.11058-183802. Ganesh Pyne (1937-2013) was an Indian painter and draughtsman and one of the most notable contemporary artists of the Bengal School of Art. He was born in Kolkata, West Bengal and was proclaimed the best painter in India by M.F. Husain in the late 1970s. [No Reserve]
