A Persian wool carpet, early 20th century, woven with repeating mina-khani motifs to a blue ground (371 x 254cm ) Provenance: Donnington Castle House, Newbury, Berkshire. Condition Report: Wear to pile throughout commensurate with age and use - particularly to the field. Some fading and discolouration. Free from large stains, tears or unpleasant odours. The selvedges have been re-bound. Fringes trimmed. Overall it is structurally stable and appears in relatively good order.
