Antique Persian Kerman rug, made of in Iran of 100 percent natural wool on a cotton foundation with medium to low wool piles. This rug is 70+ years old, and is in excellent condition for its age. Beautiful colors, and made with excellent quality, showing signs of abrash (fading) due to the use of antiquated vegetable dyes. This rug was acquired from a Metro Washington DC estate. Clean and ready to be enjoyed. Recent embargoes by the U.S. against Iranian goods should cause the value of these rugs to increase.
