Gruber Designs International (attributed) measuring 55 by 129 inches, based on a design by Eyre de Lanux, (American, 1894-1996), born in nearby Johnstown, PA, de Lanux became part of a 1920s Parisian set and included among her friends Ernest Hemingway and Colette. A noted designer of rugs and lacquer furniture, she often exhibited with Eileen Gray and Jean-Michel Frank.
